you don't have to do it alone...

I know what it’s like to be raised on survival and walk through trauma that steals your voice. To carry shame that's not yours and feel invisible in the very places that are supposed to feel like home. But I also know what it’s like to be found in the middle of the mess.

In the wreckage of addiction, abuse, grief, and silence, God met me.
Not once I had it all together.
But right there, in the midst of the mess I called my life.

He showed me that my pain wasn’t the end of the story, it was the soil He would use to plant purpose. Raising Hope was born from that place.

It was letting go of perfection, and leaning into a place of surrender. It was climbing out of the pit we never think we'll never climb out of. This isn’t just another youth development organization here to mentor you for a beat and then send you on your way. It's a movement, a place that grows with you and provides life changing opportunities, not just a quick fix. This is a calling for our redemption in action.

And it’s proof that when we rebuild, He doesn’t waste a single piece of your past.

This is our story and I get to walk with YOU as we discover how healing, identity, and leadership are possible, when they’re rooted in truth and led by faith.

This work matters

This work is for the youth who feel like they’ll never be enough.

The ones performing for approval, hiding behind “I’m fine,” and trying to be perfect just to survive. At Raising Hope, we serve those who’ve been:

  • Labeled

  • Forgotten

  • Pushed aside

We create spaces where young people can release shame, uncover truth, and finally be seen.

OUR MISSION

To equip at-risk and foster youth (ages 16–26) with life skills, leadership tools, and a faith-rooted foundation to move from survival to self-leadership and build a life they’re proud of.

We use a Grow-With-You method, starting with community and emotional healing, and guiding youth toward purpose, income, and long-term growth.

  • 1 in 5 foster youth will become instantly homeless after aging out of the system.

  • Fewer than 3% of former foster youth earn a college degree by age 25.

  • 60% of child sex trafficking victims in the U.S. have histories in the child welfare system.

Joining The REBUILD Room connects at-risk and foster youth with mentors, a supportive community, and hands-on leadership and life skills training giving them the tools to break cycles of instability, pursue education, secure employment, and step into a future they can be proud of. Here, they don’t just beat the odds, they rewrite them.

  • Youth with a consistent mentor are 55% more likely to enroll in college.

  • Supportive community programs can reduce youth homelessness risk by up to 50%.

  • Leadership training & life skills programs increase employment rates for at-risk youth by more than 70%.

Helping at-risk and foster youth (ages 16–26) own their story and build a life they’re proud of.
